OWINGS MILLS, Md. — Ravens fans can breathe a sigh of relief. Their quarterback is okay.
“I feel great. I feel good. I’m 100,” said Lamar Jackson. “I’m going to be out there Thursday night.”
Jackson did more at his team’s walkthrough practice on Tuesday. He was still officially listed as a limited participant with a quad injury, per the Ravens injury report.

He was hurt during Sunday’s win in Buffalo.
When and how exactly?
“Throwing the ball not running it. I got hit on the throw. But, I’m pretty good, though. I’m good.
The injury happened on the Hayden Hurst 61 yard touchdown throw.
“Hurst touchdown. Yep. On the Hayden 61-yarder. He was flying, too, and I was just celebrating. But, I was like, ‘Ugh’ I’m kind of sore.’ But I’m good now. It was worth it. 100 percent worth it. It was.”
But it’s beginning to become a problem. Lamar agrees over the past couple games he’s noticed defenders trying to hit him around the legs.
“Yeah, they have a lot more, especially when I’m inside the pocket and stuff like that,” he said. “When I’m out on the edge I kind of avoid it all the time. But, when I’m in the pocket, trying to complete a throw, that’s when nine times out of ten they’re going for my legs. I can’t do nothing about it. I’m trying to complete that pass. It is what it is.”
As for Thursday night’s game against the New York Jets, if it’s up to Lamar, he won’t be held back once he gets on the field.
“I’m playing to win the game. If I got to be out there all four quarters then that’s what it’s going to be. I’m not going in there thinking I should sit out, limited. I’m not out for an injury at all or the playoffs or anything like that. I’m trying to win the game and that’s what we’re going into the Thursday night game looking at.
A couple other injuries of note: tight end Mark Andrews returned to practice on Tuesday. He was limited with a knee injury. Left tackle Ronnie Stanley missed his second consecutive practice with a concussion. The official game status for all players comes out on Wednesday.
