BALTIMORE — Coach Keith Booth will no longer be coaching for Dunbar High’s boys’ basketball program, a Baltimore City Public School's official says.
Officials say the reasons for Coach Booths departure are "not subject to disclosure at this time as it relates to a confidential personnel matter."
In a Facebook post on his personal page, Booth said there was an inappropriate interaction between two Dunbar students under his supervision. He said he became aware of the incident several weeks later and took the actions he thought were appropriate to report the incident to parents and school officials.
Booth was fired on Monday before he finished his first season as head coach there.
Baltimore City Public Schools hasn't released its reason for firing Booth.
