The game was canceled due to Big Ten Conference policy and out of an abundance of caution.
The Terrapins, who are off to a 3-0 start, are next scheduled to face George Mason Friday at 3 p.m. on Big Ten Network.
UMBC men's basketball's game against Delaware, originally scheduled for Wednesday at the UMBC Event Center, has been postponed due to COVID-19 return-to-play protocols.
The Blue Hens' program had previously been shut down due to a positive test among their Tier 1 personnel in mid-November and have yet to face outside competition.
