Maryland versus Towson men's basketball game has been canceled while UMBC's game has been postponed due to COVID-19.

Maryland men's basketball game against Towson scheduled for Tuesday at 7 p.m. has been canceled due to a positive COVID-19 test among Towson Tier 1 support staff personnel.

The game was canceled due to Big Ten Conference policy and out of an abundance of caution.

The Terrapins, who are off to a 3-0 start, are next scheduled to face George Mason Friday at 3 p.m. on Big Ten Network.

UMBC men's basketball's game against Delaware, originally scheduled for Wednesday at the UMBC Event Center, has been postponed due to COVID-19 return-to-play protocols.

The Blue Hens' program had previously been shut down due to a positive test among their Tier 1 personnel in mid-November and have yet to face outside competition.

No make-up date has been announced at this time.
