OCEAN CITY, Md. (WMAR) — Air Jordan has landed, literally.
The private jet of NBA legend Michael Jordan touched down at the Salisbury Regional Airport around 10 a.m. Tuesday.
MJ is said to be taking part in the 2019 White Marlin Open in Ocean City.
Later in the day, Jordan was spotted on board his 80-foot yacht appropriately named "Catch 23", which arrived last week as a registered participant in the historic five-day tournament.
Until Tuesday it remained a mystery if Jordan himself would show up and trade in the basketball for a fishing rod.
Jordan's boat will face off against 400 other registered boats, for a chance to win millions in prizes for catches ranging anywhere from tuna to sharks, and the obvious marlin.
