Michael Phelps has achieved yet another Olympic milestone.
For the first time, the Baltimore native was voted one of six U.S. swim team captains in the Olympic Games.
Phelps was voted in by his teammates and will compete alongside Nathan Adrian and Anthony Ervin as the U.S. men’s team captains.
The Games, held this summer in Rio, will mark Phelps’s fifth appearance at the Olympics. He’s the first U.S. male to qualify five times.
