The Patterson High School boys basketball team is the Maryland class 2A state champion.
The Clippers defeated Century Saturday 49-43, inside XFINITY Center, for their second state title in program history.
Gerard Mungo led all scorers. The Patterson guard tallied 19 points.
Christion Adams had 13 points and pulled down 10 rebounds.
Zach Tucker scored 16 points to lead the Knights.
Patterson ends their championship season 26-3. Century finishes the season 24-3.
