Ravens, Verizon pass it forward

Posted

The Ravens and Verizon Wireless are teaming up for their Pass it Forward campaign.

During the 2018-19 football season, current and alumni Ravens players, cheerleaders, and Poe will surprise fans through random acts of kindness throughout the city.

The goal of the campaign is to create a positive social movement that encourages people to pass it forward.

Monday the campaign focused on public servants and first responders. Former Ravens safety Ed Reed delivered coffee and donuts at the Maryland State Police headquarters and dropped Ledo's Pizza off to the Medstar Transport Team at Medstar Harbor Hospital.

“Like I told them, they're the true hall of famers. I played a football game, it’s just a game. This is life that they're dealing with every day,” said Reed.

Ravens fans are encouraged to share their own personal random acts of kindness using the hashtags #ravensflock and #verizonbal on social media.
