BALTIMORE — The Baltimore Ravens teamed up with M&T Bank for their annual Earth day event Thursday, ahead of earth day on April 22.
About 82 volunteers from the ravens and M&T Bank worked with Civic Works to begin their farming, land conservation and revitalization projects in the city.
"Today for Earth Day, we just decided to come out and help spread mulch, help with the planting, and help with the gardening," said Keenan Harrell, a Community Relations Coordinator for the Ravens.
The Earth Day event is all in line with GamePlanEarth, a season-long environmental initiative that was created by the Ravens to make Baltimore more sustainable.
