Little League teams from Maryland get far in their respective tournaments, but have heartbreaking losses over the weekend.

A tough break for the team from Berlin, over on the Eastern Shore. Gregory Bruno tossed a perfect game for the team from Staten Island, N.Y., leading them to a 4-0 victory. They move on to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Pa., and will represent the Mid-Atlantic Region.

In the Cal Ripken World Series, a team from Prince George's County loses to Virginia in the US Championship. They were up most of the game when the Virginia team pulled ahead in the last inning 5-4. Japan won the international tournament defeating that Virginia team.

And a special moment at Camden yards Sunday. The Orioles welcomed the Mamie Johnson Little League team from Washington D.C. to Camden Yards. Outfielder Adam Jones donated $8500 to the team so they could get to the tournament. The team got to meet the players and their team president Keith Barnes threw out the first pitch.
