FREDERICK, Md. — A Frederick bridal boutique is giving away free wedding dresses to healthcare workers on the front lines of the COVID-19 pandemic.

On August 22, Diamond Couture Bridal by My Sewing Studio, will host Operation Wedding Gown at their store on Thomas Johnson Drive.

The event will be held in partnership with Brides Across America's nationally recognized campaign, which since 2008 has donated more than 25,000 wedding dresses to military members and first responders.

“Together strong is my new mantra. I am so grateful for the selfless acts of our healthcare workers, first responders, and military that provide us support each and every day," said Heidi Janson, Founder of Brides Across America. "This is our way to keep us united in love and our way of thanking all of you."
