Costco has announced it will now temporarily provide "priority access" for first responders who are members.
On Wednesday, Costco announced, "members who are healthcare workers and first responders such as police officers, EMTs and firefighters" would be allowed priority access when checking out.
"Healthcare workers and first responders who present a Costco membership card and official identification of their role, will be allowed to move to the front of any line to enter the warehouse."
Costco also announced that it would be adding a third day during the week for its special senior hours.
Members who are 60 and older will now be allowed to enter from 8-9 a.m. Wednesdays. Costco had already announced senior hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
