JARRETTSVILLE, Md. — A larger than life celebration of local graduates now lines a Harford County road.
Route 165 in Jarrettsville now features posters and banners of North Harford High School graduates.
Parents raised money so they were able to surprise their graduates, but they soon found out they were not able to put the pictures on school grounds.
That's when Harford County Councilman Chad Shrodes stepped in and organized it to be displayed on 165 between Jarrettsville and 136.
In addition to Councilman Shrodes, farmers at Grimmel Farms stepped up and donated their tractors, loaders, equipment and hay wagons to display all of the banners that were made.
Even though seniors are not able to walk across the stage, because of their community their faces still got to be on display for people to see and celebrate.
