BALTIMORE — An Anne Arundel County teenager is rising above challenging times to make a difference.
Ty Linton of Pasadena began designing t-shirts shortly after graduating from Chesapeake High School.
He started 403 Collective and is donating proceeds to different charities.
Linton's first shirt was inspired by COVID-19 and raised several hundred dollars for Meals On Wheels.
His second design drew in hundreds more to save sharks from being overfished.
The latest design will raise money for ocean conservation.
“Right now I am only able to buy 72 t-shirts to get printed on. In the future I’d like to get up to the 200 mark because the more I sell, the more I can donate,” Linton said.
T-shirts can be purchased for $25 on 403collective.com or on Ty’s Instagram account @403.collective.
