There are 42 days until Spring. That sentence just made many of you happy or not so happy. Well, which ever category you fall in, I will tell you this, a lot can happen and change in 42 days.
First of all we are still in the first week of February, so we still have the rest of February to get a good snow before Spring officially takes over. Second of all we still have most of March. I say most because the Spring solstice will occur on March 19 at 11:49 p.m. If you are from Maryland or have lived here for a while, you very well know that any type of weather can occur in March. Even if you aren't from the beautiful state of Maryland or lived here for a while, you now know that any type of weather can occur in March.....so heads up!
This week has been too warm for snow but a push of cooler air and moisture may arrive by Saturday night into Sunday morning bringing a slight chance for snow/wintry mix.
