BALTIMORE — Drivers, don't worry if this Friday or Saturday you notice a humongous crane lifting a 400 foot steel electrical tower near the Key Bridge.
It's just BGE replacing a segment of electric transmission cables that run under the Patapsco River.
Traffic should not be impacted.
Eight towers are being put up as part of the project, five which will overlook the bridge.
Construction is expected to go through September.
