BALTIMORE — After more than 2.5 years, four lanes are reopening on the newly reconstructed I-895 bridge, just north of the Baltimore Harbor Tunnel.
Traffic will flow two lanes in each direction, although it will still be narrowed to one lane as you go through the tunnel itself up to the old toll plaza.
The Holabird Avenue exit ramp is also reopened.
Construction for the $189 million -- I-895 Bridge and Harbor Tunnel rehabilitation project began in April 2018.
Everything is scheduled to be completed by Summer 2021.
