BALTIMORE — The Ottobar in North Baltimore is requiring that customers attending their events show proof of a COVID-19 vaccination or a recent negative test result.
In making their decision, the landmark entertainment venue cited a rise in Delta Variant cases.
All visitors now must also wear masks inside the facility, in accordance with Mayor Brandon Scott's reinstatement of indoor mask mandates.
Negative tests results need to have been within 72 hours of show time.

Other venues in Maryland are set to implement similar policies next week, including Merriweather Post Pavilion and True Chesapeake Oyster Company.
"It's been over 500 days since COVID first shut down restaurants in Maryland. We've been through the wringer," True Chesapeake Oyster Company said in an August 10 Facebook post. "In order to survive and begin to thrive again we must provide a safe place for our guests and our team."
