HARFORD COUNTY — A local church is working to get our most vulnerable residents vaccinated.
Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Harford County hosted a vaccine clinic on Wednesday. In addition to completing vaccinations, organizers are working to educate everyone.
"It has been researched it has that emergency use authorization but enough is known that we can take this vaccination without worry and we can communicate that to the people that come. Doing in through the community allows us to not just assess and engage with me that educational and informational needs and we take the time at this particular site to do that."
Organizers planned to give out about 190 doses. They have seven more clinics planned. They hope to complete about 3,000 vaccinations.
