BALTIMORE — The Hippodrome Theatre is now requiring show attendees 12 and older to be fully vaccinated.
That means proof that your second dose of Pfizer or Moderna or one shot J&J vaccine was given 14 or more days prior to an event.
Children 11 and younger will not need to test negative for COVID-19.
All guests are still required to wear a face mask, regardless of vaccination status.
Anyone unable to be vaccinated due to a medical condition or religious belief can provide proof of a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours of an event or a negative antigen test taken within 24 hours.
For now the new policy will be in effect at least through December 31.
“The health and safety of everyone who enters our historic theatre is of the utmost importance and concern,” said Ron Legler, president of the France-Merrick Performing Arts Center, home of the Hippodrome Theatre. “As we continue to monitor current state and national data, we want to do as much as possible to aid in reducing the risk and spread of COVID-19.”
