PASADENA, Md. — The seasons are changing and it's time to switch over from summer to winter things.
Many of our veterans may have found themselves on hard times and may not have the resources. That's why the Home Depot in Pasadena is surprising the Maryland Center for Veterans Education & Training in Baltimore City with 60 buckets of winter supplies and virus protection.
"Our vets are the heart of America, I mean they do everything. I mean it's just really, really important to give back to them and the community."
Filling up 60 buckets with materials is a lot of help, but they didn't rely on corporate for help. They did it themselves.
There are currently 30,000 homeless veterans that sleep on the streets in America every night.
