This week's honoree is Henry Rey of Anne Arundel County.

He is a World War II Army veteran and served in the 89th Chemical Mortar Battalion that was attached to several divisions in Europe.

After the military, Mr. Rey became the Yard Master for the B&O Railroad. He worked there for over forty years and retired in 1985.

He was married to his late wife, Blanche, for 70 years. They grew up on the same street in Pigtown, wed after the war, and raised six children together. Mr. Rey is now a proud grandfather and great grandchildren. His family is very proud of him too and his service to our country.

Mr. Rey will turn 95 years old on November 1. Happy early Birthday, Mr. Rey!! Thank you for your service!
