ABERDEEN, Md. — WMAR-2 News is committed to improving the lives of Veterans in Maryland by giving light to their stories, struggles and triumphs. Every week a local veteran will be featured in our Veteran Spotlight contest.
This week we are honoring Reginald Johnson, Jr. of Aberdeen. Johnson spent five years in the United States Air Force and served during the Gulf War in Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.
After the military, he worked for the Department of Corrections and, later, joined the MTA Police Department.
Jonson is a loving husband to his wife, Tynika and proud father of Montay, Eesa and Kyle. His cousin nominated him for this award and says he always puts family first and is always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Today, we honor you! Thank you for your service and dedication to our country.
