WHITE MARSH, Md. — Fire crews from the White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company are being heralded for an unusual rescue Sunday morning.
The Fire Company said the call came in after 12:00 p.m., about 12 ducklings stuck in a storm drain at White Marsh Mall.
Crews were able to rescue all the ducklings with non-life threatening injuries.
According to the fire officials, this marks the first duck rescue of the year. White Marsh Volunteer Fire Company assist with 10-15 duck rescues a year.
