BALTIMORE — MIFFLINTOWN, PA- Did you feel the shake from the Wednesday night Earthquake?
According to the United States Geological Survey, a 3.4 magnitude earthquake was reported around 8:30pm. The earthquake was about 11.1 miles south southwest of Mifflintown, Pennsylvania at a depth of 3.4 miles below the surface.
Viewers out in Hagerstown, Thurmont, Frederick, Clear Spring, and Monkton said they could feel the shake this evening. This lines up fairly well with the shake map points below from the USGS. The exact coordinates of where the earthquake happened are listed below 37.240°N, 73.007°W.
