We're 11 days in to the month of May-- so now is a good time to take a look at how the month is trending. You probably guessed..but this month as been trending unseasonably cool. Freeze Warnings and Frost Advisories issued on multiple occasions in the first third of the month. 8 of the 11 days have not only been unseasonably cool, but three of those days were 10+ degrees cooler. For those of you who are looking for a shift in this weather pattern, look no further.....
As we head into the middle of the week, a warm front will lift through the area and will bring more seasonal temperatures our way. Seasonal average for this week is 73/74, and we'll be well above that by Friday. Unfortunately we will have plenty of rain opportunities through the weekend-- with a few a rumbles of thunder sprinkled in.
