Severe weather struck the state Monday afternoon, with a tornado warning through Howard, Carroll and Baltimore County.
In Carroll County, roads closed due to a tree falling down on Deer Park Road. One couple was sitting feet away when a branch came crashing down in their kitchen.

A massive tree also fell between two homes on Wayne Avenue in the Gwynn Oak area.

In Carroll County, one man died while cleaning up tree damage in Finksburg. Officials say a tree collapsed on the elderly man.
