Here's a look at the temperatures at 4pm today.
We topped out in the mid to upper 80s! That was roughly 14 degrees above normal! While we weren't close to breaking a record--it's a been a long time since we've been in the upper 80s--- a very long time.
In fact, today was the warmest day of 2020 so far. Temperatures haven't been this warm in 226 days, back on October 2nd-- when we actually broke the record high temp for the day, by reaching 98 degrees. Temperatures are expected to remain above normal as we head into Saturday-- and outside of a stray sprinkle, things remain quite nice. More clouds build in on Sunday, but I think our best chance of seeing widespread rain will be Monday and Tuesday as a cold front slides into the area, dropping temperatures back into the mid 60s Tuesday.
