After three days of severe weather threats...and one evening of flash flooding-- everyone is ready for the weekend and better weather. This time-- I have just what the doctor ordered. Temperatures will be roughly ten degrees above average this afternoon with dewpoints in the upper 60s-- so it will be humid. A cold front will be sliding through the area later today, so there's potential for an isolated showers, but looks like most of the moisture will be to the north of our area.
The game changer----
By Sunday that cold front will drop temperatures roughly 10 degrees, but drop dewpoints by about 20, which means not only will it be a little cooler, but it will also be less humid! That makes Sunday the weekend winner-- so plan an event for our household outside Sunday afternoon/evening!
Dewpoints will begin creeping back up a little as we head towards the middle of next week.
Happy weekend!
