Here we are, the first full week of February, and temperatures should hover at 43° for an afternoon high. Looking ahead, Tuesday will be the only day in the forecast that will be above that-- with temps climbing into the upper 40s during the afternoon. A cold front will slide through bringing a wintry mix early morning, transitioning to a rain chance through early afternoon.

If you're a snow lover-- you'll be happy Wednesday evening. We'll be tracking our next system, which looks to bring snow into the area around 11pm, and we'll see a steady flow of moisture through the region on Thursday as well. Temperatures barely climb above freezing, but we'll probably see this as mostly wet snow across most of the area, with areas south of I-95 seeing sleet mix in as well.

Looks like the higher totals will once again be seen north and west of the city. For folks along the I-95 corridor, 2 to 4 inches looks likely through Thursday evening, with lower totals along southern eastern shore.

Several low pressure systems will supply moisture into the area through the rest of the work week. As always, these events are a little fluid several days out, so stay tuned for updates!
