Hold on to your hat and tie down the trashcan because the winds are kicking up today!
Winds will gust up to 40-50 mph with sustained winds at 20-25 mph. Therefore, a Wind Advisory is in effect until 6pm this evening.
A Nor'easter and powerful cold front continue to move away from Maryland bringing the winds and colder air. As the low departs to the north and east and high pressure builds in from the west, the winds will continue to howl right into tomorrow.
The weekend will feature ample sunshine on Saturday along with rebounding temps in the upper 60s but it will be a frosty start with low in the 30s and 40s. The clouds will increase on Sunday setting us up for the chance of showers Sunday afternoon/evening into the beginning of next week.
Stay tuned!
