A tornado watch is in effect. This afternoon, between 1 and 5pm, a line of showers and T'storms will move through bringing the possibility of damaging gusty winds and an isolated tornado can't be ruled out. With that said, the severe risk is greatest east of I-95 and Rt 29 and the tornado threat will be greatest over southern MD and east of the Chesapeake Bay.
Once the cold front clears the area this around 9pm tonight, the severe weather threat will come to an end. Showers and maybe an isolated T'storm may continue into the late evening. Winds will pick up and gust between 35-40 mph.
Expect mostly sunny skies on Saturday but it will be gusty and cooler with lows in the 40s and highs in the mid 60s.
