Another Wintry Threat Midweek

An area of low pressure will push into the region-

Another wintry scenario is set to unfold for the midweek. An area of low pressure will push into the region late Tuesday night and Wednesday. Precipitation may begin as some snow but quickly change over to a wintry mix.

Icy conditions will be a concern Wednesday morning. The morning commute will be impacted and school delays/cancellations are likely.

By midday, the precipitation will change over to mostly rain. However, ground temperatures may still be at or below freezing in some locations. Slick conditions will remain a worry even into the early afternoon.

After this system moves out, cold conditions will once again follow. Highs on Thursday will only be in the 30s!
