Right now, the 2016-17 winter season is tied for the least snowy Baltimore winter on record with the 1949-50 season.
This season, Baltimore has only accumulated 0.7" of snow. That all occurred within a 3 day span from January 5 through the 7th.
March is always a wild card for our area. The snowiest March dates back to 1892 with 25.6" of snow! The average March snowfall is 1.9".
