Battle Of The Seasons....

Posted
and last updated

2 years ago today, the Baltimore metro area experienced a blizzard with record breaking snowfall. The storm produced snow from 1-3 feet. BWI received 29.2 inches from January 22-23, 2016  which broke the President's Day II storm of February 16-18, 2003.

Well, what a difference 2 years makes because today, January 22, 2018, it is not even cold enough to support snow. Low temperatures have been where our highs should be for this time of the year, in the low 40s, and the forecasted high is the low to mid 60s this afternoon!

A cold front will move through tomorrow dropping the temperatures back to seasonal levels by mid week into the end of the week but another warm up is on the way for the weekend.

Winter weather lovers will have to wait until February when the weather pattern takes a colder turn which will bring back the possibility for more snow.

Stay tuned!
