over 1800 Kwanzan Cherry Blossom trees have been planted since 2004.These eye-catching trees usually bloom about 2 weeks after the Cherry Blossoms in DC and they go through several stages before they are full bloom. The projected peak date for the DC Cherry Blossoms is April 3-6.
