Tons of sunshine will be available today with WSW winds. This will help daytime highs top out into the upper-60s and low -70s-- making it feel slightly warmer compared to yesterday. Make sure to take advantage of this pleasant weather as we have some changes heading our way.

High pressure dominates the weather pattern for the Mid-Atlantic region through today, before it moves off the Carolina coast into Thursday. This will keep the dry stretch of weather going through Thursday as well.

Clouds will increase Thursday night as a cold front approaches Maryland from the west. This will increase not only cloud cover--but rain chances through Friday afternoon and evening. As of right now, rainfall amounts look to range anywhere from .50-1"

Southerly winds will prevail through much of Thursday and there will be plenty of sunshine which will allow temperatures to top out in the mid-70s. Once that cold front clears, we will be dealing with more fall-like temperatures for Friday and the upcoming weekend.
