After months of dry conditions gripping the region. Much wetter conditions have taken shape across Central Maryland. So far this month, BWI has reported 3.83" of precipitation. The bulk of that fell the past two Sundays - on February 4th and 11th.
Despite the recent moisture, 11% of the state is still in moderate drought.
The drought will further be dented this weekend as a wintry mix moves into the region on Saturday. And another round of precipitation arrives Monday - that time we'll be tracking rain.
