It will feel hot today with sunny skies blanketing Maryland. High temperatures today will rebound back above average, into the low to mid-90s this afternoon.
High pressure will reside near the Mid-Atlantic region today, keeping a frontal boundary to our south and a cold front up to our northwest. This set up will help it feel noticeably less humid thanks to dew points in the low to mid-60s today, compared to the low to mid-70s yesterday afternoon.
This is as close as to a "dry heat" that we get during this time of year in Baltimore. So enjoy it! A few waves of disturbances will bring unsettled weather (showers and storms) back into Maryland Thursday evening into Friday.
In addition to the rain and thunderstorm chances for the upcoming weekend, the humidity will be on the rise through early next week!
