Once again we just cannot shake Winter here in Central Maryland. Freeze Watches are up for portions of the area late tonight and into early Saturday morning. For those who have already begun to plant those gardens yoy could run into problems.Temperatures in most locations look to fall down to around 32 degrees with winds gusting upwards of 20 mph producing wind chills in the 20s.
All of these stresses could harm tender vegetation or even the fresh blooms on some of the budding trees across the area. If you would like to avoid damage to you plant you just need to follow the two easy steps below. Bring them inside or simply cover them up with a (bed sheet, tarp, etc..) Once temps come back above freezing remove the covers and water to get the plants back into full stature.
Unfortunately another cold night/morning is expected by Sunday before the warming trend ensues. We just can't catch a break this season or shall we say the year without Spring.
