It's been very hard to find snow this Winter in the Mid-Atlantic but Friday brings a rare "chance" to see some.
This is not expected to be a major snow event. With temps well above freezing over the past week, any snow that does occur will melt more than likely. Also this is a very disorganized system, so a steady snowfall is less likely.
Snow Squalls are Possible
Snow squalls on the other hand will be possible during the morning and afternoon. These squalls can cause problems from drivers since they can drastically reduce visibility for drivers.
Colder air will be arriving behind the snow showers leading to Maryland's coldest weekend in a while.
