Some spots saw some flurries early this morning courtesy of a moisture-starved cold front, but most will remain flurry-free throughout the rest of the day. In the wake of the cold front passing, wind gusts have really picked up and will continue to increase throughout the midday/afternoon hours. Wind gusts will range anywhere from 30-40 mph at times, making it feel MUCH colder.
Even though air temperatures will read the upper-30s and low-40s... it will not feel like that! These blustery northwest winds will pump in colder air from the Great Lakes region, allowing it to feel like the 20s and low-30s throughout the daytime hours across central Maryland. You will need the winter coat when heading out.
Winds will subside after sunset and the weather looks more tranquil into Thursday with highs bouncing back slightly above normal, in the mid-40s.
