After heavy rain this past Sunday led to catastrophic flooding in Ellicott City for the second time in less than 2 years, we don't need any rain any time soon. Unfortunately, that will not be the case today and as the weekend approaches.
The air is saturated, hence the foggy mornings. Plus, more rain and thunderstorms are in the forecast. Showers and storms are likely by the end of the week. We are enveloped by a tropical air mass, courtesy of Alberto, so the air you wear is out in full force....the dew points are in the upper 60s and low 70s!
We are not completely out of the woods because the potential for showers and storms still lurks for the weekend which could lead to more flooding.
Stay Tuned!
