Today, the weather will pick up where we left off yesterday with the heat, humidity and the chance for showers and storms. Some storms may be strong to severe.
The storms get rocking and rolling this afternoon between 3 and midnight.
The primary threat will be damaging gusty winds. Some of the thunderstorms may put down large hail and heavy rain and train. Training is when storms go over the same place, like a train going over the same track repeatedly. Heavy rain and training will lead to flooding, so we will have to be vigilant when the storms arrive.
