So far, this November has been above normal in the temperature department and rain department. The average temperature so far is 65.9 degrees and the normal average temperature, so far, should be 53.8 degrees.
As for the rain, we are above average too, with 3.51". The normal value is 1.95", so as of November 19th, we are in a surplus.
The wettest November was 2 years ago in 2018 when we piled up 8.14" of rain for the month. In contrast, the driest November was in 1981 with only .31" of rain and the snowiest November was a loooong time ago in 1898 with 9.71" of snow!
I know many of you love the snow but we have yet to see snow in Central Maryland, but with December right around the corner, it will be here sooner rather than later.
Stay tuned!
