A cold front moved through Sunday night and now it's time to prepare for the chill. Winds remain high, occasionally gusting 20 MPH Monday. Thus, temperatures are not only falling 10 degrees compared to Sunday, but factor in the wind, and feels like almost a 20 degree drop at times. By 1PM it will feel like 45 degrees in Baltimore, even though the thermometer will read in the 50s under golden sunshine. All if this is from just 1 front... but get ready for a second, stronger front on Tuesday.
When the front moves through there is a slight chance of an isolated shower. Wind goes even higher on Tuesday, gusting to 25 mph. Temperatures fall another 5 degrees to the low 50... but you know it will much cooler than that despite all the sunshine.
The arctic air continues to funnel in, making Wednesday the coldest day of the week. Time to trade in your cold brew coffee in for a warm cup of joe!
