A cold front will push into Central Maryland on Tuesday, bringing a chance for severe storms.

The Storm Prediction Center has placed parts of our area in a 'marginal risk' zone. The areas shaded in green have the highest probability of seeing severe weather. The greatest threats will be damaging wind gusts and heavy rain which could lead to flash flooding.

Keep your eye to the sky throughout the afternoon and evening. Always remember "when thunder roars, go indoors."

Behind this frontal boundary, much more comfortable air returns. Highs for the midweek will be back to seasonable numbers in the mid to upper 80s with less humid conditions.
