August is considered the dog days of summer, so it's no surprise that we are in another heat wave, as the heat and humidity persist.
Today will be very much like yesterday with highs in the low 90s and the heat indices in the triple digits....up to 102 degrees.
You need to take every precaution to stay cool, so the pool or beach will be your best friend today into tomorrow.
Cooler temps will move in by the end of the work week and hang around through the weekend courtesy of a cold front.
