Strong to severe storms are possible as we get up and over the hump on this Wednesday, so there may be a bump!
The Storm Prediction Center (SPC) has our viewing area in a Slight Risk for severe thunderstorms this afternoon. The primary threats are damaging gusty winds and heavy rain which will lead to isolated flash flooding.
A cold front moves closer to Maryland today but it will stall in the vicinity for a few days, which will lead to the chance for more showers and storms into the weekend.
