Ahhh... summer. I don't know about you, but it is my favorite season! Remember when you were a kid and you got to buy ice cream from the ice cream truck, or vacations to your grandma's house so your parents could get a break, or long days at the pool because you had nothing else to do? Something about summer seams like the whole world stops and as a kid you have endless time to be outside. By the time school starts it gets darker and darker, earlier and earlier... that day is coming. (Ah man!) In the beginning of summer, the sun was up until about 8:30 at night. As of today, August 25, the sun goes down at 7:47. (Although I guess that is better then the 4:30pm sunset time in the winter!) School begins in 1 week, right after the Labor Day holiday. So parents, the wild kids that follow you everywhere (like to the gym, the grocery store, and nail salon) will soon be in a classroom, giving you a break. Maybe make this last week for them, and you, as fun as you remember your summers as a kid. Ride your bikes until sunset, watch a movie on your tablet outside in the backyard (while it's still warm), maybe even enjoy a snowball after dinner on a hot summer night. The best day to do these activities is Friday and Saturday this week. Temps will then be in the mid 80s, with plenty of sunshine and comfy humidity. Enjoy!
Unofficial end of summer is almost here
Labor Day is only 1 week away!!!
