Fall brings ups and downs. One day the temperature may be above average and the next below average.
We may even see a string of above or below normal days, which is what we have seen this week.
Highs have been and will continue to be in the mid to upper 70s, which is well above the normal high of the mid 60s.
Temperatures won't tumble until a cold front sweeps through by the latter half of the weekend.
Temperatures have been and will continue to be above normal because high pressure is anchored to the east. There is clockwise flow around high pressure, so it pulls in a southerly flow, which is a warm flow. Hence, the warm temperatures.
Fall and Spring are the seasons where temps try to adjust to the new season, so expect the roller coaster temps to continue for a while...buckle up!
Stay tuned!
